1) One major aspect of their research involves upcycling and repurposing construction and demolition waste as a key binder component, thereby significantly reducing the environmental impact associated with traditional cement production. Furthermore, he is pioneering efforts to incorporate recycled waste materials as replacements for natural aggregates in concrete formulations. This novel approach not only addresses the pressing issue of resource depletion but also contribute to the circular economy by diverting waste from landfills.

2) Exploring the integration of advanced materials, including nanomaterials, into cement compositions in order to unlock the full potential of these cutting-edge additives to further enhance the properties and sustainability of cement-based materials.

3) Developing low-carbon concrete formulations designed specifically for 3D printing technology. Through leveraging their expertise in materials science and construction engineering, Al-Noaimat aims to create a versatile and eco-friendly alternative to traditional concrete, suitable for use in additive manufacturing processes.

Beyond their doctoral research, Al-Noaimat serves as a research assistant on a collaborative project focused on comparing and enhancing the properties of various types of cement used in carbon capture and storage (CCS) wells. This project underscores their commitment to addressing the global challenge of climate change by investigating innovative approaches to reduce CO2 emissions associated with industrial processes.
