Summary
Thomas Coleman is an Associate Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science at ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ since October 2019. They studied for their PhD. in Computer Science from Brunel from 2017 to 2020 and also hold an MSc. in Information Management from Strathclyde University, Glasgow and a BSc. in Computer Science from the University of Birmingham.
Thomas's research focuses on the application of technology to education, particularly the role of Games in teaching, learning and assessment. They have a longstanding interest in curriculum design and in the practical application of novel pedagogical techniques supported by new technology.
Thomas has teaching experience from Secondary through to Higher Education, holding a Postgraduate Diploma in Education from Strathclyde Univerity, Glasgow and is a Fellow of the Higher Education Authority and a member of BCS.
