Summary

Rebecca Pizzey is a PhD student in Creative Writing at ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½. Working with her primary supervisor Professor Bernardine Evaristo, and her second supervisor Dr Kate Houlden, she is completing a thesis composed of a full-length novel that will examine the variant forms of sexual trauma, with an accompanying body of research that will explore the language of sexual trauma within fiction. Rebecca was awarded a full Techne scholarship to conduct this research, and enrolled as a student in October 2021. Prior to the commencement of her PhD, Rebecca completed her MA in Creative Writing at ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ in 2015 (Distinction) and her BA in English Literature and Creative Writing in 2014 (First Class Honours), both under the supervision of Professor Bernardine Evaristo.
