  • Strategy and Entrepreneurship

Summary

Before joining Brunel Business School in May 2022, I gained seven years of invaluable experience through academic roles at Istanbul University, Baskent University, and TOBB University of Economics and Technology.

My research centers around organizational psychology, employee healthcare, and the promotion of wellbeing within organizations. I have a particular interest in the subtle dynamics that significantly impact individual experiences in professional settings, considering various internal and external factors that influence work-life balance, career paths, productivity, and performance.

My primary research focus includes mindfulness and compassion-based interventions, leadership development trainings, and job crafting strategies aimed at supporting performance and enhancing workplace wellbeing. As a certified teacher of the Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction Program (MBSR), I have been providing training and consultancy services to organizations and individuals since 2019. In addition to my academic work, I consistently deepen my mindfulness and yoga practices through participation in teacher training courses, workshops, and retreats.

More recently, my research has specifically delved into menstrual health and endometriosis in the workplace. The objective of these projects is to increase awareness, foster understanding, and contribute to the development of supportive policies and practices for working women managing these symptoms and their effects.
