Research area(s)
Past research includes practice-based explorations of media production in community radio. Her PhD (2020) is informed by interdisciplinary discourses, positioned in media, communications and cultural studies; the thesis highlights the importance of ‘the local’ in everyday life and the value of unpaid labour in media production, particularly in suburban contexts.
