Charity Aienobe-Asekharen has over five years of experience in the nonprofit sector as a Researcher, Health Promoter, & Project Facilitator. She has an MPH degree in Health Promotion & Education from the University of Ibadan. She is a 2020 Commonwealth Scholar and is currently studying for a Doctorate Degree in Public Health and Health Promotion Research at ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½. Her doctoral research is focused on co-designing with In-school young people in Nigeria for tobacco smoking prevention through health communication.
Charity is an experienced researcher with a deep commitment to public health and health promotion. Her passion lies in promoting the well-being of young people and ethnic minority groups by actively involving them in the research process through codesign and meaningful participation. Through research, she aims to empower and uplift marginalized populations, ensuring that their voices remain significant and that policies and interventions are tailored to their specific needs.
