Charity Aienobe-Asekharen has over five years of experience in the nonprofit sector as a Researcher, Health Promoter, & Project Facilitator. She has an MPH degree in Health Promotion & Education from the University of Ibadan. She is a 2020 Commonwealth Scholar and is currently studying for a Doctorate Degree in Public Health and Health Promotion Research at ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½. Her doctoral research is focused on co-designing with In-school young people in Nigeria for tobacco smoking prevention through health communication.

Charity is an experienced researcher with a deep commitment to public health and health promotion. She brings extensive experience in conducting and supporting impactful studies and forging dynamic partnerships to create innovative programmes. Her passion lies in promoting the well-being of young people and ethnic minority groups by actively involving them in the research process through codesign and meaningful participation. By harnessing the power of collaboration and engaging diverse perspectives, she has successfully developed and implemented initiatives that address the unique challenges faced by communities. Through research, she aims to empower and uplift marginalized populations, ensuring that their voices remain significant and that policies and interventions are tailored to their specific needs.
