She has held academic positions at the University of Aberdeen (Lecturer/Senior Lecturer), University of Hull (Full Professor) and University of Sheffield (Full Professor) prior to moving to ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ in 2021

She has held honorary consultant positions at Grampian NHS Trust, Humber Mental Health NHS Trust, Hull and East Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust; Sheffield Teaching Hospital NHS Trust. She currently holds a part-time Consultant position (secondment) at Central and North West London NHS Trust
