The Disablement Association Hillingdon (DASH) is a charity providing advice, support, and activities that allow disabled people who are a resident of Hillingdon to take control of their lives and become more independent, confident, and part of the community. The organisation offers advice and support for people with a disability and a range of sporting and recreational activities all focused on encouraging people to socialize with one another.
Details of the Volunteering Opportunity:
In this role, you’ll help to organise and generate income for DASH with the employees, trustees, and volunteers of the organisation. As a Fundraising Co-Ordinator, you will develop social media skills, improve your administrative abilities, and meet new people.
Typical duties include:
- Organising and attending Fundraising events
- Make connections with the local community
- Helping out at local volunteering events
- Interacting with DASH clients
Please note, the Brunel Volunteers team would like you to commit to a minimum of 3 months.
