Tell us about your educational and/or career journey since you graduated from Brunel.
After graduating from Brunel; I worked in the Department for Education and was promoted to Senior Executive Officer in a short space of time. I have worked for Michael Gove, Tim Loughton and Lord Hill in their Private Offices. I then took a career break to live in Dubai with my husband and set up an award-winning digital marketing agency. I came back to the UK in 2019, had a baby and launched @artbyshree in lockdown. I’ve won an award, been on the radio, featured in British Vogue and painted for celebrities all over the world.

Why did you choose to study at Brunel and why would you recommend Brunel to others?
It had a good reputation for the path I chose and was near my home.

The state-of-the-art technology (the computers etc were all new when I joined and the lecture theatres were also new so it was a refreshing environment to study in and the lecturers were always so helpful.

A cliché but follow your dreams and trust your gut! Study something that you enjoy and excites you then the rest will follow.
What would be your top tip or key advice for new graduates as they begin their career journey after leaving Brunel?
Be organised and get your CV ready in advance, take some time out as once you start working it may be difficult to get that downtime and then look forward to what lies ahead.
